A bright plum colour. The nose has berry fruit with hints of liquorice and dark chocolate which carry through onto the mellow palate. The tannins are soft and fine grained.
The finish is lingering. A pearler of a wine! Drink now or cellar up to 10 years. Enjoy with roast duck, roast beef, vegetable lasagne.
2008 Beechworth Pinot Noir*
(20 months French oak Casks)
This fine wine is a deep strawberry colour and has classic Pinot fruit characteristics on the nose. Fresh complex spice floats accross the middle palate which is soft, full and luscious.
There is incredible length. Enjoy now or cellar up to 12 years. Serve with all game and poultry dishes, crayfish, Atlantic salmon and mushroom risotto.
